I have been toying with the idea of making a crochet rebozo for a while, and I was finally able to make it come to life. This crochet rebozo is so simple yet beautiful at the same time, and I love creating simple and modern designs that beginners can follow. So if you know how to double crochet and half double crochet, I think you will be able to make this! Now let’s get to work!
Fun fact: A rebozo is basically a shawl; In mexico, it is used by the indigenous women to carry their children and to cover their heads from the sun.

Fringe
Cut strands about 16 inches long. use 3 strands for each set of fringe. you will have 15 sets on each of the sides of the wrap. You can leave your rebozo like this or continue to the next step.
Fringe Continued
Grab the first set of fringe and 3 strands from the next set and tie a knot.
Continue to grab the 3 strands from the previous set and 3 strands from the next and tie a knot. Do this until you reach the end. For the last set you will do the same as the first. Grab the 3 remaining strands and tie a knot with the last set of fringe. Repeat same process to the other side of the wrap.
and now you are all done! You can trim your fringe at the end to make it all even.
