This crochet pattern holds a special place in my heart because it was the first pattern that I ever made. It has been the most popular in my Etsy shop and I wanted to share it with all of you!

Materials
You can use the popular lily sugarn n cream cotton yarn for this pattern
- One skein of cotton yarn size 4
- Yarn needle
- Scissors
- 4.00 mm hook
crochet terms
- CH-chain
- HDC-half double crochet
- DC- double crochet
- SS- slip stitch
- ST- stitches
Notes
- Chain 3 does not count as a stitch ·
- You will slip stitch to the first double crochet at the end of each round
- The first double crochet of each round will be made in the same as chain 3
Pattern
CH 20
Row 1: HDC in second chain from the hook, HDC across (19 STS)
Row 2: CH 4 turn, (CH 4 counts as your first double crochet and chain 1 space) DC on the third stitch, CH 1,skip one ST, DC in next ST,*CH 1, skip one ST, DC in next ST*. Repeat from * to * until you reach the end of row. (19 STS)
Row 3: CH 1 turn, HDC across including the chain 1 space, make your last HDC on top of the CH 3 of previous round. (19 STS)
Row 4: CH 1 turn. HDC across (19 STS total)
Row 5: Repeat row 2
Row 6: Repeat row 3
Row 7: Repeat row 4
Row 8: Repeat row 2
Row 9: Repeat row 3
Row 10: Repeat row 4
Row 11: Repeat row 2
Row 12: Repeat row 3
Tie off and start on the fringe.
Cut 40 strands of yarn about 5’’ long. Each side has 10 sets of fringe. You will use two strands for each set of fringe. Tie the strands evenly on each side and trim fringe at the end.
