Who is ready for some Holiday cheer? I don’t know about you but decorating the Christmas tree is one of my favorite things to do during the holidays!
I knew I had to incorporate crochet somehow into my Christmas tree, so I came up with this adorable mini crochet hat ornament! I hope you guys love it as much as I do!
These cuties work up quickly, so you can make a bunch of them in no time! They are also great stash busters!

Materials
- scraps of yarn
- G crochet hook
- scissors
- pom pom
Crochet Terms
- ch- chain
- hdc- half double crochet
- flo- front loop only
- ss- slip stitch
- ( )- stitches at the end of the row
Pattern
CH 12
Row 1: Make a hdc on the second chain from the hook and all across, ch 1 turn. (11 sts)
Row 2: 1 hdc on flo in every stitch across, ch 1 turn. (11 sts)
Rows 3-8 repeat row 2
Fasten off, leave a long tail, and fold your hat in half and ss together.
With the remaining strand of yarn close the top of the hat.

Turn your hat inside out and tie the strands of your pom, weave in the ends and turn hat inside out again. Fold the bottom to make the brim of the hat.
You can use a a strand of yarn to hang your ornament.
