Notes
- chain 1 does not count as a stitch.
- you Will be slip stitching to the first sc not the ch 1 to close each round.
- you will be holding two strands of yarn at once for this pattern

Make a mc, chain 1
Round 1: Make 8 sc into the magic circle. (8 sts)
Round 2: Chain 1, Increase in every st. (16)
Round 3: Chain 1,* Increase, 1 sc in next st.* Repeat from *to* (24)
Round 4. Ch 1, *increase, 1 sc in next two sts.* Repeat from * to * (32)
Round 5: Ch 1, *increase, 1 sc in the next three sts. Repeat from * to * (40)
Round 6: Ch 1, *increase, 1 sc in the next four sts. Repeat from * to * (48)
Round 7: Ch 1, * increase, 1 sc in the next five sts. Repeat from * to * (56)
Circle should measure 5 1/2 inches at this point.
Basket Body
Round 8: Ch 1, 1 hdc blo around. (56)
Round 9: Ch 1, 1 hdc around. (56)
Round 10-13: Repeat row 9 (56)
Rounds 14-15: Ch 1, 1 hdc tlo around. (56)
Rounds 16-17: Repeat row 9 (56)
Round 18: Ch 1, *1 hdc in the next 9 sts, ch 10, skip 10 sts, 1 hdc in the next 9 sts*. repeat from * to * one more time. (56)
Round 19: Ch 1, 1 sc around including the 10 ch from previous round. (56)
Round 20: Ch 1, 1 sc around. Tie off and weave ends. (56)
