Today I’m going to show you how to make yarn tassels with your hand! Sometimes we don’t have a tassel maker available, but that’s OK we can still make them using our hands. I love using tassels on my projects. I think it gives them a whole different look!
You can use tassels on different projects like blankets, scarfs, pillows, bags, and much more.
For this tutorial, you will need:
- Scissors
- yarn
- your hand

Start by wrapping the yarn around the hand
cut two long strands
Slide your hand of the yarn and insert on the the strings trough the top and tie a knot.
Now cut the bottom part of the tassel with your scissors
Now place the second strand behind the tassel and tie a knot like the picture below.
Now you can trim the tassel and its ready to be placed in your project!
