The Summer Lovin Cardi has finally been revamped and now you can make it in multiple sizes. I originally made this design to me a one size fits all but I realized that I had to change that because we all have different body types! I’m currently in the process of adding more sizes to the pdf but for now I will leave you with instructions to make the S/M and L/XL in this post!
Because this is an oversized cardigan the sizes can be really forgiving, if you don’t want yours to be too loose you can go down a size! I made mine in the L/XL and I’m a 42 inch waist.

Notes
- ch 4 counts as your first double crochet and chain 1 space on second and third row.
- ch 1 does NOT count as a stitch.
- although I give you size suggestions, this pattern is easy to adjust as you wish. You can easily make it bigger or smaller, for the width just chain an even number and for the height just add more rows.
Gauge
14 stitches by 7 rows = 4″ by 4″ adjust the hook size up or down to meet gauge.
Materials
- size 3 cotton yarn (800 yards) I used the CotLin yarn from Wecrochet
- 6.00 mm crochet hook
- yarn needle
- tape measure
- scissors
Abbreviations
- HDC- half double crochet
- DC- double crochet
- ST/STS- stitch, stitches
- sk- skip
