If you follow me on Instagram, you saw that I posted this tender twist cozy a few days ago. This cozy was inspired by my velvet twist headband, I realized that the pattern is really versatile and it could be turned into a coffee cozy with just making a couple of alterations! I think this is the perfect gift for any coffee lover and if you still need to make some quick, easy, and fun stocking stuffers for Christmas, this pattern is perfect for you!

For this project you will need
- lily’s sugar n cream 100% cotton yarn
- 4.5 mm crochet hook
- yarn needle
- stitch marker
Pattern
Chain 30
Slip stitch to the first chain to close. Make sure not to twist the chain.
round 1: CH 3, DC all the way around. When you get to the end do not slip stitch to chain 3.
Round 2: Twist the left side of the cozy down (this is what will make your cozy twist). Make a DC on that side of the foundation chain and place a stitch marker there. Continue to DC around until you reach the stitch marker.
NOTE: Before reaching your stitch marker, there will be a chain 3 from the previous round. Continue to go around and place a DC on top of that chain 3.
Round 3: When you reach the stitch marker, make a DC there and replace the stitch marker. Continue to DC around until you have two stitches left before the stitch marker. Make a HDC on the next ST, SC on the next, SS to the stitch where the marker is on. (this will make the finish even) Tie off and weave ends.
