Since I am in the journey of using less plastic and finding ways to help our planet, I decided to make a list of 5 Free Eco-Friendly crochet patterns that we can all make right now to help us reduce waste!
All of the five patterns you see here are FREE, so enjoy! Just click on the name or image to take you to the free pattern.
1: The Terra Produce Bag by Tender Warm Creations
Of course, I had to start with my recent pattern release. This bag will be your best friend during your trips to the grocery store made of 100% cotton yarn. ( friendly for our planet Earth)
2: The XoXo Cold Cup Cozy designed by Hooks Books & Wanderlust
This beautiful reusable cozy was designed by Kristen, one of my good friends on Instagram. She is a really talented and lovely person! Her cozy is perfect for cold and hot beverages, and the best part is you won’t have to use the regular coffee sleeves you get when buying your coffee!
3: The Crochet Dry Mop|Swiffer Pad Pattern by Desamour Designs
What? A reusable Swiffer pad? Yes, you read that, right! Now you don’t have to waste all those pads that you have to buy at the store saving money and the planet!
4: Bath Puff by Handy Little Me
Stop using store-bought bath puffs and make your own with cotton yarn. This is a simple way of reducing plastic, and they are super cute too! You can make them and gift them to your friends and family!
5: Reusable Cotton Pads And Basket by The Roving Nomad
Trust me when I say you need to make the change to cotton pads or dishcloths. I have not bought paper towels in a long time mainly because I love to make my own reusable cloths, which saves me money and our ecosystem! You can just throw them in the washer and dryer and use them over and over again!
I hope you enjoyed my list of Eco-Friendly patterns, and I hope you try all of these and see if they work for you! If we all do our part, we can make a difference!
